Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

Sekera
kronos x mae * female * seventeen * 26in/77lbs * no home, mate, imprint * starcrossed lover

The fields had always held a special place. She spent a few years here with Hera after the meteor, when the lands finally came back to life. She missed Juno, and her daughters. They’d left the lands all together. And now she was here. Wandering with an aimless heart. The girls hadn’t been brought into the world out of love. That’s another matter entirely, where the memory alone gives her nightmares for weeks. She’d long since given up on the whole imprint thing. After getting set up in her years with bad imprint after bad imprint, that’s a long gone option. Afterall, it’s useless to set up a seventeen year old femme with anyone, isn’t it?

She laughed at her own thoughts, a soft fleeting sound that drifted around. The years were awful on her, though she prided herself to keep her coat clean and shiny. She was distracted for a brief second watching a hawk swoop low over the water, razor like talons reaching out and grasping a fish from the middle of the lake, the water was suddenly alive as the fish realized its days were over. A slow smile spread across her delicate features. Only to hear the breathless baritone voice speak from behind. Her head turned slowly, her galaxy eyes gazing peacefully at the bloke who had joined her. His words were a caress of sorts, causing her smile to turn into a soft grin. She dipped her head gently, “Of course you can, it’s not like I own the embankment here” soft words slip from her lips as she watches him, her mind was a bit solicitous at the moment, unsure whether or not his words were truth or just plain flattery to talk her into something.

I’m Sekera.” she spoke once more, the softly spoken words. She was not someone who was loud, nor obnoxious. Years had shown her the wisdom in speaking in a way true to your heart, and that’s all she would do.

She shifts her body slightly, ensuring enough room should he wish to join her as she laid on the embankment. She could see the youth in him, and she wondered just how much younger he was from her. It’d been a long time since she spent time in the company of a male who was not trying to harm her. Part of her was weary, yes. After all, you never know who you’re spending time with, at least, not a first.
