At Leisure Lake the sun is always shining and only a few stray clouds roam the open sky; paradise is the one word that really describes it. This beautiful lake is clean and refreshing, the very best place to swim and fish. Pups are known to play here while older wolves watch at the side, engaged in their own activities.

_________________________________________________________________________ The snow white female padded through Aurora’s trees, the area that was more comfortable and familiar to her than any other place in the world. She barely remembered a time when she did not live within these trees. Kalgalath had been kind enough to take her in, even though she had been a trespassing pup all alone with nothing to offer to the pack. He had been the only father figure to her and it had not been too long before Hellene came along and adopted her and Destan. Without them Khaleesi knew she never would have survived. Even if she had found someone else to take care of her until she was big enough to take care of herself it would not have been the same. To many Hellene seemed like a tough and sometimes mean varg, but Khaleesi knew otherwise. She may have been stern but she was the perfect mother. She taught her adopted pups so much, and the femme would forever be grateful for what her mother had done for her. As much as Khaleesi loved Aurora, she decided to venture out of the pack’s territory today. It had been a while since she had gone out, and she could take a peek at some of the plants she used for healing. She didn’t like to keep her stocks too long in case of an emergency, but she had been keeping an eye on things and nothing had happened recently so she had plenty. She made sure to never take all the leaves of a plant, not wanting it to die and become useless to her, but it was good to make sure the plants were still in their usual spots. Bright green orbs looked around carefully as she walked through the forest, taking stock of many plants, from simple moss to the bright poppy to feverfew flowers. It seemed that everything seemed to be in good supply right now and nothing would be in shortage in the near future. As the femme walked through the trees she decided to take the lake’s entrance back to Aurora and maybe take a quick dip since it was warm now. As she stepped onto the pebbles that surrounded the lake she heard the movement of another varg and she turned to see who was there. It was no one she knew, but Khaleesi was not shy and never had been. Her plume wagged in a friendly fashion as she approached, but cocked her head for a moment when she saw his movements. It seemed that he was in pain. Not everyone would pick up on it, but Hellene was the best healer there was, and she had taught Khaleesi everything she knew.
