Mugen wasn’t sure what type of reception he was going to receive, part of him didn’t care. Nothing too terrible he was sure. His family was full of wolves who were noble and kind after all. After all when they picked names like The Mother Queen and Father King and he was sure Halcyon found himself his own equally fluffy name. It probably fitted him. He wondered how his big brother fared, who knew perhaps the world hardened him just like it had Mugen. It was time to find out. After Mugen’s calls it wasn’t long before the much larger, but still familiar form moved towards him. Halcyon. He had grown a lot but he was in many ways the spitting image of their father. Mugen was lucky, he didn’t really look like either of their parents, not really at least. His tan coat and stripes didn’t really scream Iblis and Rhae, but it worked out for him fine. He was the black sheep after all, he didn’t need to look like them.
Halcyon hadn’t changed a lot. His first words were enough to show that. Mugen was greeted enthusiastically, a toothy grin was his response to his smaller, big brother. He laughed when his shining look became appalled at Mugen’s appearance. ”Why thank you.” He said still grinning all the while. ”I fought against an entire pack of bandits on my own. That’s what happened.” He said rolling his shoulders into a shrug.
”Been years after all. Haven’t seen you since we were children, since Mother was killed. Seems though the prince has regained his lands.” He eyed his brother his stub tail giving a wriggle at best. He was messed up that was for sure, but he took pride in his destroyed appearance, his battered body. It showed how much hell he survived how much he went through and how much more he was willing to go through. Halcyon though looked much cleaner, though Mugen noticed the scar at his throat. Interesting, but not as interesting as his brother was in him.
”Stories for another time. Know I am a badass though. That’s the important part.” He says shrugging again and giving a bit of a devious grin, which was pretty much all of his grins. He couldn’t help himself after all, he was the vagabond, the bandit. The only reason he was here was because he was hungry and those damn night beasts forced him to live in a pack, and just so happened his brother was an alpha. That probably came with its own sets of perks and Mugen was wishing to exploit those all he could.
