It had only been a few moments, but it made her heart beat in excitement and anticipation. There was something to be said about the game of chase. Predator and prey- however she was nothing to be eaten. Perhaps it was something else entirely. Regardless, she was enjoying the challenge. She knew he would catch on. She remembered their previous meetings, and she thinks she knows him well enough to figure he would come into the grotto to find her.
She hears with her stillness that he comes closer. It makes a smile tug at her lips again. He falls deeper into the grotto, into the danger, to find her once more. He always the kind to risk himself to impress her. Hah. Her black ears hear his voice then, and yes she does indeed listen, but she always uses the moment to her advantage. If he is off yelling about- she can move with less chance of detection for his ears. His eyes? Well, she knows where he came from, but not exactly where he is. As he yells out into the depths of the darkness, she moves on her light and swift paws. She was very much her mother's daughter- the fastest demon in Hell. She dashed forward, around another corner where the darkness enveloped her further. The area she entered felt a bit more airy, more open. Perhaps, the more red part of her fur may have reflected the slight bit of light as she entered this area.
His words were amusing. Eye candy? How cute. She presses herself against the cold stone of the grotto's wall. She crouched down near the entrance,a foot or two away but facing it. Her paws and top half are black, and she waited crouched like a cat ready to attack.
"Well, come bring me back my eyes candy," she says in a haunting tone, her muzzle turned away from the entrance of the dark room so that it would seem perhaps more distanced and echoed. Who knows though, dancing in the grotto is not a game to be taken lightly, and she could be dead wrong about his ability to find that...that is why she was ready to pounce at any moment.
