Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

Note: Susil Crags will return to normal once 25 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes.

this is the end

Life could only be better if Malleah was here right now. But since she's not, he would enjoy the cool breeze sweeping over the edge of the cliff and the warm sun beaming down on his back. He could practically smell her even now even though he knew she was far away, probably back in her den nursing the children of the monster she despised. He could tell by the look in her eyes when she talked about him that she didn't think too much of the male who had fathered her litter. Would she have had them already? She looked about ready to pop when he saw her last but who was he to judge? Exodus had never fathered pups before so he wasn't sure how long it took. He just hoped that was what was keeping her from coming back to see him. He really hoped to see her again soon. He didn't know what he could spend his time doing until she got back. Sure, he could check out Moladian, see what else there was to see, but there wasn't anywhere else he really wanted to be without her.

He knew he could always go see the pack lands, maybe even see how much Diveen had changed since he last lived there but it had never really felt like home to him so he didn't see that changing anytime soon. He had heard that most of the pack lands had new alphas. He was curious to know about them but he didn't want to make any commitments without Malleah. He wouldn't stay anywhere without her by his side. He wondered if she would even want to join a pack when this was all said and done. If she didn't then he would be happy just to wander the free lands with her. He would go anywhere as long as she was with him. His head snapped up when he suddenly heard barking. What was that? Who was that? His eyes opened, his ears swiveling around, trying to place the sound. The crags seemed to make the sound echo from all directions so he couldn't pinpoint it. His tail gave a swish behind him as he continued to look. Finally he set his gaze on the multi colored female making her way toward him. She seemed friendly enough with her bright lilac colored eyes so he offered a smile and wagged his tail in greeting, ears pricking forward as his own golden eyes lit up in a friendly way.

"HI YOURSELF."

He said back to her. Then he realized she was running right toward him. He tensed up just a little. After all, her body language didn't seem all that threatening or anything, but she was still running at him and he was on the edge of a cliff. All it would take is one big misstep... He gulped, glancing over the edge before turning back to her. She had skidded to a stop by this time, which he was grateful for. At least he didn't have to worry about falling to his death for now. When she stopped, she bowed before him in play and his lips tugged into a wolfish grin, his tail wagging faster at her energy. He may not be as young as he used to be but he was nowhere near close to being an old crab by any means. He could DALLY with the best of them. She said that her name was Masque and he repeated the named soundlessly to himself, making sure he could memorize it. She called herself a princess and he tilted his head in curiosity. Gypsies? But her next sentence was the most important, apparently. He was "it," after all.

He laughed as she suddenly launched toward him, he moved just enough so that he wouldn't be pushed back toward the cliff but he didn't want her to slip either so he allowed her to touch his shoulder, his way of bracing so that she would kind of bounce away from the cliff as well. He didn't want that on his conscious. Once he knew she was safe, he barked and launched himself after her.

"WELL THEN I GUESS I'VE GOT TO TAG YOU BACK, RIGHT? I'M EXODUS. WHAT'S IT MEAN TO BE A GYPSY OR FAIRY KING? IS THAT A NEW PACK?"

He figured he might as well ask questions and find out more about her while he tries to catch her. After all, it could make for a decent distraction. Maybe he'll get just close enough to tag her back.
