Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

She was a mess in short. Standing there trying to keep herself from sobbing in front of him. She didn’t know if he would understand, what he would do. Always Eden had been some kind of enigma to her, something always was there she didn’t understand or couldn’t see. What drove her to do what she did though was far from her mind yet at the forefront of it. The little she knew about him driving her to worry about just exactly what he would do presented with the death of their daughter. She wanted to be held, to sob into him, yet she knew such actions would likely be the last he would want. Zeltzin kept her distance, not sure what she could do to help him see how broken she was. Never had she lost a child like this. Never had she experienced something so terribly heart wrenching…

His hiss, she couldn’t really even call it a word and her ears fell back. She could almost feel the anger on him, see how his eyes narrowed how his body tensed so subtly. Her breath caught in her chest it was so hard to try to speak and every time a word reached her lips to try and explain another short series of words from him hushed her once more. They were all… reasonable questions, some she wanted the answer for as well yet right now she was just trying to make sure she didn’t start sobbing before he had his answers from her and she crumbled to the ground again in a grieving mess.

”Aranck… Iromar… I don’t know why she was there she just.” She shuddered before she felt her white legs give out on her causing her to fall to the ground and throw her face into her paws and sobbing. ”I don’t know why she went so far. Why she was there. They never gone so far before I don’t know why any of this is happening why someone would do that to a child. OUR CHILD.” She said between wracking sobs and cries muffled barely by her dirty white paws. ”Moteuh… She went out to play that was all and why. Tepi saw him do and… I don’t know why. Eden why?” She felt it was her fault but it wasn’t at the same time. How could she ever suspected or knew? Shem and Asriel were fine, Tepi had followed her yet. She wanted to know why, Zelda wanted to know why. Why would anyone do that. Never once did Zeltzin suspect it was because it was Eden’s child, or even because it was her own or her family’s. What had Eden ever done to hurt anyone? What had Taviora or Glorall? Far as Zeltzin knew both families, both packs had not earned the scorn of Iromar. She just didn’t understand and she was hurting so bad and there was nothing anyone could do to ease it. A parent should never outlive their children.
