Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

demi-goddess - three - worshiped by none - loner

Deciding the other wolf didn't pose any immediate threat, Jakuta falls back onto her haunches near him, snowy tail wrapping around her side. He seemed rather distracted at first, like he'd just woken, and she wonders if she had misjudged the state of the other wolf and rudely interrupted his sleep. A goddess wasn't often concerned with the feelings of others, but she was not unnecessarily rude, either. Disturbing a wolf during sleep was not only that, but a fatuous move for one who wanted to keep their skin.

Before she has the chance to apologise, the other wolf seems to slip back into full consciousness, and at the dip of his head and greeting she finds herself more inclined to stay than let him alone. "Could I not ask the same of you? You can't have been dozing long." She wonders, voice light and feminine, similar to what one might expect. It's smooth and clear, much like the wind through the leaves of the trees, calm and graceful. "I don't find it pleasant to sleep alone. Not with the beasts that haunt the night." She would be surprised if her companion did not know about the felines and the large caniforms.

It would be easier with a pack, she does not deny that. She wonders if wandering back to Asteria would be a wise idea every day, but something keeps her away. There is no rhyme or reason, but she feels it isn't where she's meant to be at this point in her life. She was young still, she had plenty of time to find a pack, to settle down and make a place her home. For now, she would live.
