Those who can't sacrifice anything, can never change anything
He snarls as she moves still in his grip whipping around to take out her anger of his bite onto the very male he was trying to save. He willed himself to clinch harder, to make her stop bothering the male but the resounding crack of his leg caused Emil to flinch, closing his eyes for a second before allowing his anger to bubble up again, redoubling before suddenly he spotted Aurai. His soul sunk and worried for her but then a rage filled him one that was not usually his own. He felt stronger and bolder and he burned to keep his imprint safe. She would not be wounded he didn’t think he could bear to see her hurt, to be wounded. Hunting was a different field than this, she didn’t have to follow him but there she was hunting for these night beasts right along beside him. It whirled around on him ripping its leg from his clutches. Emil pulled back and away but he wasn’t fast enough. The claws hit just the bridge of his muzzle sliding through his skin before deparding leaving wounds in their wake.
He snarled in pain backing up and shaking his head madly before shaking Aurai off of her and leaping over the tri-colored female running off into the night. His face stung and his hackles were raised, took a few leaps after the unusually large beast to be certain it had left them. He was holding still for a few moments letting his blue and mother-of-pearl eyes glare through the darkness. Once he was content the beast was gone he rubbed his golden leg over the thick slices on his muzzle. Blood, near the same color of his russet fur marred his gold. He could feel it dripping off but it was far from the worst of the wounds the lot of them had gotten.
He wanted to calm himself but he swung upon Aurai first to make sure she wasn’t hurt. ”Are you okay?” She seemed fine but the worry was in his tones he wasn’t content to make sure these strangers were safe until she was. He couldn’t stop himself from feeling that way either. His heart raced and only slowed when he saw the pale cream female was safe. Once he was happy in that and he calmed himself down her turned to the other pair, they were checking up on eachother.
”Do either of you speak this language?” He asked the pair of them, he wasn’t sure if they could, ”We are from Diveen, we can get you taken care of. It’s pretty far, but I can help carry you.” The male wasn’t the smallest, but Emil thought maybe he could get him some distance before he would be worn. He needed a healer too, he already was pretty sure his face would scar. It burned and hurt but Emil wasn’t going to die from it, with or without a healers help.
