Guilt weight heavily on her mind, she finally gains enough courage to come from her hiding place and to the forest pack. She was a stranger and she doubted she would be welcomed but she didn’t wish to call attention to herself. She needed to see if the boy who saved her was hurt or even alive. She appreciated his sacrifice for her own safety and it was the least she could do to see if he made it out of the encounter safely. Blacktip paws stepped lightly through the forest her guard hairs standing on end anxious of this place. What if the bear lingered near here? What if he had been eaten she paced debating on running away or staying close uncertain if she should proceed but despite the inner debate she made slow progress into the pack lands.
Ears folded slightly perhaps she should have called and spoken of her presence but it was too late now, she was an intruder and she was lost to top it off. She remembered what the boy looked like to an extent and she hid when strangers passed until everything was quiet she stumbled across a path a scent that was almost familiar but she ended up walking in circles astounded she hadn’t been found yet. She roamed each path a bit more until it led her to a den and she poked her nose about calling out softly in almost a whisper.
Ears twitched to the sound of brush and undergrowth being rustled. Violet and gold rimmed gazed shifted she darted and pressed herself into the den so the others could pass. She wasn't a wolf that was easily scared but the forest had left her anxious and only time could tell if it would pass. Perhaps the beasts will move on come winter she didn’t know but for now, she would take her chances with being overly cautious. She waited in silence hope that she could continue looking in peace once the stranger passed by.
