It was a comforting thing her brother's company. She wouldn’t admit it but she was pleased by it anyways she grew distant of the grasslands and those in it. His words slipped to her ears but she didn’t detest it. ‘What was up?’ she couldn’t exactly explain it to her brother ashamed of the weakness she had shown she offered him a tooth and silent glare as she debated how he would explain what had occurred why she needed to get away from it all. Her ear flicks backward then forwards once more uncertain of her own feelings until death sat at her side and she visibly relaxed. Deaths company assured her she would get her vengeance and all would be well once more, for death didn’t permit her to show such weakness. It was a companion but one what wasn’t picky where it placed its teeth.
She shook her head slightly and returned her gaze to her brother almost a soft expression but a blank one at that. “Eat. Brother.” Her tones were akin to soft hisses as she moved a length away from the corpse before settling on her haunches. “I’ve lost. My appetite.” She looked at the body with disgust before twisting her head towards the grasslands a tooth exposed towards it before her gaze settled back on Ripper. “Time.” Her tone was solemn but firm, her eyes glazed as she thought of him. She had shown weakness to him but all the same he was a part of her in a way she couldn’t understand and perhaps didn’t need to but her taste wouldn’t keep them safe, she had waged her war and she knew death could see to it that she was successful at reeking havoc on the fates of others at least.
It was a growing thing she spoke more, albite rather broken speech at that and still an unfavorable task. “You observe. Tell Me. I see. Fools. Weakness.” She practically hissed, it was something she had seen, felt. Sekhmet could grasp many things yet still couldn’t understand why she did, what she had that day. Her features fell emotionless once again as she slid down on her forepaws much like her brother had. Few would be a good company soon, so she relaxed and laid her head on her paws for a moment. She was listening to the world around them for intruders only when her brother spoke would she give him priority attention, he was a company, not an enemy. It could be said however her frustration with what happen only stoked the fire behind her eyes.
