My S
Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

Her feelings were odd as of late. She heard the howl not too long ago announcing the death of her mother, and she eventually visited the grave that someone had dug for her. It was an odd feeling knowing her mother was no more. Phaedra was perhaps always an oddity of the Angels, but she still felt pride in her lineage. She sought the truth of Angels, even if others did not see how she did.

She knew not of her father, Kane. She knew not of any of her siblings. She knew not of many things, and she knew now that she should seek them out. She knew not how though or where to begin. She wished first to find the sister she was closest to, Cal, but her scent was no where to be found on the Diveen border. Phaedra had found herself wandering back to the woods. She was frustrated. She had spent much of her life finding the truth, only to lose much in the process.

She finds her sunset form weaving through the trees at a slow place. Her nose would reach to tree to tree, seeking to smell the scents lefts. She hoped to find one she recognized. Yet, she found nothing. She growled quietly to herself.

Perhaps she did not value that of family heavily enough in her youth. She was now 10 winters old, going on 11. Her mother had many children by the time she was her age, but where was Phaedra now? She snorted as she passed a tree marked with scents most offensive. The large, muscular woman loped forward, stern violet and golden eyes staring forward as she continued on.

She felt a longing for that of her shadow. She did not expect her shadow to have answers, but she sought his comfort where she found no comfort else where. Her draw to him was stronger when they first met, and she was unaware that such a thing occurred among many as of late. She knew not where he was as well, but she felt she had a better...sense of it. She felt she could find her better than that of her own family- honestly a thought that terrified her. She wondered about him a bit more, wondered about his own family, and perhaps how he handled it all. No, she didn't expect all the answers from her shadow, but she knew he could provide her with at least an easy breath or two.
