I know she’s young, insecrute but I have seen more times than not where non-imprinted pairs ended up being more true to one another than those given to us by fate. Perhaps I understand Aster only because her relationship her parents had as imprint-mates, but far too many times I have seen other things such as the relationship of Amoxtli and Shiloh and then that of Zelda and Hyrule before coming here again. Just because fate did not deem them soulmates did not mean that fate was right in deciding they would be the perfect lovers too. Regardless that was her own battle to face and hopefully after talking to Solstice I would be able to put some of these silly thoughts to rest. In a way I suppose its good I go handle this sooner rather than later.

”You’re very welcome Lady Aster.” I reply to her gratitude dipping my head slightly and offering her a soft smile to show I am genuine in this. I will do what I can for her, she’s my alpha and it’s my duty to serve her. It is then though she brings up missing someone. There was only one ‘her’ I thought she could mean. Her mother. I miss mine too I think, but at least she was alive… somewhere. I miss Aithne too though, in some ways she was a second mother to me. I move forward then touching my muzzle to the side of Aster’s neck to comfort her before pulling away as she spoke about being happy that we were together again. ”Me too, and I think both our mothers’ would be happy as well.” I add hoping that would bring a little more comfort to her as she went on to ask what Halcyon had asked me to do.

”Halcyon has requested I go set an alliance with another pack. I figured Diveen would be the best place to start seeing as it’s our nearest neighbor and both Taviora and Iromar are already our allies.” I say matter of factly looking off towards the brushlands pack. I had never been there before, but I wasn’t nervous, after all I met with Hyrule before and if I am not mistaken I am pretty certain it is now his father who rules there. I would take care of that on my own, but it wasn’t my only task. ”My other was to meet with wolves of our home, with you. I think talking with you today and soon Solstice fills that, but I met with others, with some strange ghostly wolf called Wraith. He was from Taviora too. He is different.” I say though my tones do not denote he was strange or different in any bad ways, in fact I am quite curious about him still, there was lots I still needed to learn about my new home, and it’s members.
