Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Inanna

She was so lost in everything within her and around her, she did not notice the approach of another being. It was so natural that he be there with her in this moment that his physical presence was almost merely secondary. The wind flowed around her, carried her voice and drowned it out all at once. Wonder became perfection when a deeper voice lifted to twine perfectly with her’s. Bound by soul they were wordlessly in tune with each other. Her heartbeat as a pounding drum, giving more strength to the magic that was connecting them to the moment and this earth.

She opened her eyes. Her voice died down while the storm still clashed around her. The growing familiar twist in her stomach turned again when she met his green gaze. She knew she would never be able to turn away from him and refuse him, but she yearned for Thor just as badly. Their history together could not be tossed aside by a turn of fate, even if fate’s song was so exquisite. Inanna whined softly, her tail twitching in a slight wag towards him. She wanted to touch him, press her face into his chest and breath. Since their meeting they had not been together, all she had of him was his name before she had been stolen away again, or lost to the wilds. But it had been his name she had clung on to when she could. Now he was close, she had him here amongst the rocks. She stepped forward, her nose reached out to touch his cheek. It felt almost wrong, though still nothing compared to the nearness she had shared with Thor. This was innocent, testing. A strange calm in an eye of a storm that surrounded them.
