Forlornly he stared down the hole into which his entertainment had vanished, a low whine still cutting the air as he sat unkempt at the entrance. Until Masque’s yapped greeting causes his flopped ear to twitch and his electric eyes to follow. He bounces to his small feet then, slender legs spread wide as his tail beat the air behind him while she approached and mentioned that they should help the fairies store up for winter. At the mention of fairies his head cocked to the side while just the tip of his tongue still sticking out in confusion but it soon fell open again in a jovial smile, enticed just by the idea of doing something with a friend.
Bouncing forward he responded with an enthused “Ok! before looking around for the fairies that she had mentioned, his face falling a bit when he didn’t see any. Instead he turned his patched eye toward her and asked, “What do we do? What are they storing?” Perhaps a better question would have been what in the world are fairies, but he loved to play games and now that his siblings were grown and his parents had new pups to care of he could use a friend. Of course he would have liked to spend time with Inanna, but he hadn’t seen her in some time. Perhaps soon he would track her down, but for now he was excited to have made a new friend and a pretty one at that!
