Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

Arturio

Arturio was relieved that his assumption had been correct. If not this situation would be even more awkward for a pair of complete strangers. All the same, he now knew he had to pay special mind to her body language when engaged with her. Otherwise, there would be a lot of awkward silences. The snowy wolf already knew there was just about anything he'd do for Nari. It was an odd notion for someone he hardly knew. And again he noticed she had looked back at the gathering. Someone there was of interest to Nari, though he was having troubling pinpointing who.

As much as Art wanted to know more, he did notice her huff. Sadly, he wouldn't be going anywhere unless she indicated it to him, and given the way things were, it'd be interesting for a spectator to see that happen. But, her expression now appeared to indicate for him to keep talking. About what though? His brow furrowed momentarily, figuring out where to start. Maybe a little about himself? That would work for now. "I guess I can start with a bit about myself. You just stop me if i'm rambling..." he said before beginning.

"I'm sure you already figured I'm not from around here. The lands I was born in were far to the west. They were dying, and everyone was disappearing. I ended up on the move to find family. Siblings, my mate, my children, or even stragglers from my pack, I did have responsibility to them as their Beta", Art started, his bright green gaze being mindful of her body language as he spoke, "Ended up failing on that, miserably. Ended up helping those in need of it as I traveled. Still hold out hope I might find them, but it's been over a year, so I don't keep my hopes up too high."

Art paused for a moment. He wasn't really the long winded sort, but even a little bit is too much for some. "What about you? Family here?" Simple inquiries, he reminded himself, and not everything all at once. That seemed to be safest for now.
