Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Matianak
No Heart - No Soul - Of Underidge & Paravana

Matianak enjoyed to send her days wandering her home. Of course, the grey shaded youth much preferred to keep her father happy. Oh how she wanted Under to be happy in his way. The young wolf wanted everything to be perfect for her father, so she often sought out ways to please him. But she always seemed to come second to her litter mate, her sister Umbra. That didn't phase her though. It would only be a matter of time. She'd be daddy's perfect girl, in every way that mattered. So she told herself often with a defiant smile.

The young wolfess trotted along with relative grace to her shape, pale blue gaze scanning the familiarity of Glorall for her father. She intended to do something he'd like. Matianak wanted approval first, but she highly doubted the denial. She hummed quietly to herself when Umbra was dashing towards the same place she was going. What had her in such a hurry? She quickened her pace, only to come up on her sister ranting about some Emil, and ruining mother's death. So it finally happened. The Shade had her now, as it was meant to be. Her ears pressed forward, fixating on the name. Emil. Her eyes narrowed slightly as her attention was now on Under. Her father who could do no wrong in her eyes.

She didn't like how he was more focused on Umbra though. A frown creased her maw. Who would take them? Or rather why? This was home, so who would dare take them from Glorall? Of course they were Under's, he was their father after all. Then, her original idea went out the window. This one was better. "I'll take care of him father, make sure he never tries to bother us again," she said, with a rather pleased with herself smirk on her maw.
