...THE BEAST YOU MADE OF ME
I held it in but now it seems you've set it running free
Her stance relaxes when she sees the big, clumsy brute. It isn't that she's pleased to see him, but he's considerably better than his brother, at least. She derives some joy in watching him face plant in front of her, after making sure he wasn't hurt, before taking a cautious step back as his hulking form draws back to its full height. Some part of her feels guilty about him, she was not entirely innocent in the situation they had recently found themselves in, but events from her past stop her from showing it. She would not postulate an apology from Tepiltzin, she did not want his worthless words.
"Stay here." Bryce gruffs out, giving the intruder a stern look before retreating to the mouth of the cave. Her rabbit is still there, a little chillier than before, but the heat of the chase kept it somewhat warm. She carries it back inside and stops near Tezcacotl, lowering her head and placing a paw on the body of the hare. Her jaws clamp down hard on it's body, canines piercing skin as she rips the creature in half. What was beneath her feet would be hers, and she tosses the other half towards Teza. "Eat, then go."
Was that what she wanted? Consciously, yes, she had no desire to be around mister royalty. Deeper down, would she mind the company? Perhaps not, but she was a stubborn wolfess, and she would not be the one to broach any conversation. Why would a prince have any desire to speak to her, anyways? He already had gotten what he wanted, he got to make sure she was okay and put his mind at rest. Now he could leave, go on with his life and forget about the wolfess his brother cheated.
