then we'll lie, cheat, steal and murder everything
lucian - demon - of age - no home - no heart
we have dark, tarred souls underneath
It was as if he had risen from the ash itself; a strong framed shadow that edged along the scorched earth. Closely, he surveyed the area, his red hues bouncing and sweeping across every inch of the terrain. Winter was on it's way, — and it was coming quickly, steadily. The temperature change had caused a thick fog to form near Lucian's nostrils with each exhale from his large chest. Heavy robes of ebony brushed slightly with the chilled breeze.
There were parts of the land that were not affected by these changes, however; after the demon had already covered the portion of the field that had been charred, the brightly painted blossoms met his red gaze. How odd this male appeared in this setting, — a tall, heavy shadow that haunted the very soil he stood on. The vivid scenery on the untouched side was a perfect contrast to the boy's appearance.
It didn't matter to the beast that he stuck out like a sore thumb in the meadow. After an extensive day of travel, even this male's pillars had grown heavy from the distance and he began to tire out. Without any care or hesitation, the demon immediately settled down under the canopy of a tree that hugged the edge of the blossoms. An audible, relieved sigh escaped from his chest as he finally rest his dark crown on the top of his paws. Red eyes continued to search the land for a few moments, but eventually the blinks would grow slower, and slower.. and despite all efforts to fight it, Lucian was overtaken with sleep.
"if you don't want to dwell in the light, then dwell in the shadows with me."
