"The name is Xarxes, ma’am,” the deep venom had only just dripped from his thick jaws, slightly cut short as the Queen’s attention redirected to the approaching demon behind them. And Xarxes studied her closely; brown hues dancing between the two ghosts until he saw Motionless’s expression lighten and made the instant connection between them both. It seemed as though the demon had walked into something that was much more complex than what it appeared on the surface. But from what he had heard in the short time frame of him being here, of course questions would arise. After all, their queen did appear with a dead body after being gone for some while.

The Queen began to speak, and although she appeared to be reciting her story to them all before her, it was clear that she was mainly trying to explain her actions to the pale brute. Xarxes kept his eyes respectively low at the time, but as the ghost continued her legend, his mind could not help but roll over the subtle details. The painted man knew exactly what the woman was going on about; however, this man experienced it differently than her. In his case, he was the monster. Less dedicated, of course. He never had a mate. No interest in one, either. But what he did to females was… disgusting, to say the least. As the Queen tried to justify her actions, describing her encounters and emotions with the corpse before her, the black and white demon could not help but to feel a pang of… guilt? Never had he experienced any emotion behind his operations. He did what he did, and he did so without a second thought. He did not care about women.

All he wanted was to see them in pain.

He abused them. Humiliated them. Impregnated them and then left. He was cruel, and cold. Leading them in with his warm lyrics and seemingly open heart, only to break them and leave. Occasionally, it was forced, but mostly, it did not have to be. Some girls were so dumb, so innocent. What he did was a drug to him, a twisted disease that always sent him back for just one more victim. However, hearing Motionless’s story had each one of his encounters rushing through his thick cranium. For a moment, he could swear he would faint from the weight of it all. Chocolate hues struggled to stay focused on the others and he fell further into his own world. Then the Queen’s sound had come to an end, and the demon snatched himself from these deep thoughts so quickly that he swore it could have been a physical action.

It was only then that he noticed the second kalak that had slunk in during Motionless’s words. The girl stood beside the Queen as if in support of her choices. Xarxes opted to keep silent during this time, as he would with most. It was not yet his place, and it was up for the other males to respond; however, his gaze set on the queen, unwavering. He wondered what she would make out of him, of his habits. Would his secrets ever get out, though?

You've still got Hell to look forward to,
