It seemed to be hardly a moment before the bright face of his sister greeted him, and though the male had never been one for outward expression the sight of her brought a smile to his face. She was a welcome, innocent sight, her intentions had always been nothing but pure. He saw so much of Natu in her, that gentle patience and endless affection that she had graced all of her children with. 'Alistair!' He could almost hear her jubilant greeting if he tried hard enough, and her excitement was contagious to the point where he felt his own tail waving as well. Alistair hated to involve her in this, there was a war in his head between the need for information and the hesitance to potentially implicate his sister. Samia was happy here- that much was clear- but did she pledge herself to Eden or to Glorall as a whole, or perhaps to the memories of their parents who spent many of their last days here?
"Samia, dear sister." He greeted, the barest hint of happiness edging its way into his unvaried speech. Alistair almost had forgotten what it felt like, to be surrounded by such positive energy, as she bounded into his chest and he rested his head against hers for a moment before she pulled back again. Even his relations with Moonstone tended to be more tempered, although he felt for her and desired her presence and safety, there was something incomprehensibly wonderful about seeing his younger sister once again. 'Brother, I've missed you!' He had not realized until now how much he had missed her, too. The death of their parents had been so painful that he had only thought it best to segment himself, to devote himself entirely to his work and yet it had only pushed the emotions further back into his mind. They had not gone, and now they were coming all at once. 'Have you come to visit for a while?'
Alistair blinked once at the hopefulness in her gaze, for a moment almost forgetting why he had originally come here. But he could not say no, not to her, not when the green of her eyes changed to blue, and the black around her eyes faded into white. There was a fierce keening in his chest that he had not felt since he was much younger, he thought back to their playtime on the beach together, where the children had moved the old bones of Fenrir and Natu. "I think I will stay a few days, if you'll have me." He said, tilting his head slightly. "I am here on business, but... I cannot help but remember when we welcomed the youngest three into the world, the days we romped in the sands by the ocean." His voice, although still toneless, held an air of nostalgia and reminiscing.
His white eyes focused on her once more. "I am glad to see you are happy and healthy, Samia. How is Thor? And, speaking of them, our younger sisters?" Alistair would ask his questions eventually. But for now, he was content to simply feel.
