She attempted to hear what the other said with a lifting of her ears, but she was not able to catch it, or at least, understand it. Her golden brows furrowed slightly, only as a means to slow her slight confusion in trying to understand. But she began to wonder quickly if she had made a mistake. She had not really even encountered anyone seeking to hurt her before, not that she could tell for sure if this was the other’s intent. Her actions seemed odd to El’Zeath, and a bit unsettling. She had encountered rude wolves, perhaps some wolves that would bite way too quickly, but something about the younger girl before her made El’Zeath second guess her attempt at being friendly. Her father...he had always told her about evils in the world. He talked of how some craved death and darkness, but she thought perhaps those were just stories. Yet, why would he lie to her?
Her orange eyes watched as the younger girl started going through the river by the rocks scattered around. Her pushed her muzzle forward with concern- regardless of her own uncomfortable feeling she was getting from the way the girl looked at her, or just...looked at the world in general. Perhaps she was just being judgemental and she needed to take it down a bit, but she remained on her safe rock as she watched the other.
”Oh I...I didn’t mean for you to do that,” she said with a bit of a frown. She did not wish to inconvenience the girl too much, but it proved to be a difficult matter, and the girl then asked her if she wanted to cross over. El’Zeath frowned again, thinking herself a bother, but also concerned.
”Not sure if it is safe. Are you okay?” she asked, orange eyes looking to the paws of the other female. She tried to observe if she cut herself or otherwise got hurt, but she could not tell at this distance.
”I just wanted to learn a bit about the area, the packs here, if you had the time...but uuh, it is okay, if you are busy, don’t want you getting hurt either” she said with a small smile, perhaps slightly awkward. The gaze of the girl before her was so...cold, so distant. She seemed to different than anyone else she had ever met, and her instinct gave her a warning, but she felt somewhat safe in her position right now. Maybe there was something warm behind the cold eyes of the girl before her. El’Zeath’s orbs of orange were bright as could be-penetrating and bright. She was certainly a rather cheery girl, and friendly while remaining tall and strong. She was not a short girl by any means, nor was she at all weak, but she did not give off the aura of dominance either. The girl of black, gold, and cream waited in her position to gauge the reaction of the girl before her before making any moves.
