Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

Inanna

The corners of Inanna’s lips twitch at the look of confusion on Talien’s face. Her expression is not cruel, or teasing, or mocking. She more looks as though her suspicions are confirmed and she has resigned herself to the truth. However, just as she did, they both smelled of someone entirely different than their soul-bound imprints. If this stranger could love an other than whom fate chose for her, so could she and the world would still seem right. Her body relaxes in Talien’s presence, an attempt to physically and visually ease the tension. I understand. I wear his scent like a cloak. Her snowy head tilted, slowly becoming a little more friendly. Being a creature of a more aloof nature, it was rare and strange for Inanna to attempt to seek someone out, much less converse with them. I believe it was you who I was looking for.

Talien’s spoken name confirmed everything. Inanna released a sigh into the wind she had not known she had been holding. This was indeed Thor’s Imprint and she was his...whatever she was. His initial words about Talien comforted her. He loved her like a brother, like a protector. Whereas Inanna, he declared so much more and so much different. Her smile grew, though her eyes sharpened. Inanna was never much one for keeping too many secrets. Nor did she tolerate others to beat around the bush around her. I am. He shares my den on the beaches. She was half surprised he had not turned white with the salt. There was still an odd turn in Inanna’s heart. She wondered if Talien was as twisted and confused about her heart and her soul as she was. In the end, she trusted herself with the affections of Thor, knowing she would not harm him and his heart was safe with her. The questions led her to wonder, would Rufio trust Thor with her? Would she trust another with Rufio? Her ears flattened in distaste. If someone were to steal Rufio’s heart, she would ensure they were worthy and good enough. You are his Imprint? He speaks highly of you. I am not here to challenge you. But I am…. concerned. Her mismatched eyes shifted to Talien’s stomach. Tell-tale signs or no, she knew the effects of winter and all too well the bind of fate. The two women needed to come to an understanding. It did not cross Inanna’s mind they could be friends, though the concept would possibly thrill their mutual connection.
