Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Matianak was bored. Just killing time for the moment. She trotted along the familiar paces of Glorall, pondering how to go about keeping her father happy. She was his, always would be. It didn't matter about any siblings, though Umbra was bothersome at times. The young female knew she would deal with that sooner or later. Perhaps after dealing with the wolf that ruined their mother's death. That scent was engrained in her mind. But that was neither here nor there.

Her tail swished back and forth absently. Matianak's pale blue eyes drifted across the traces of home. Ahead of her, she spied Natiya. She increased her pace so as to catch up her. Her long strides came with a natural grace as she drew up towards the other.

"Fancy seeing you out and about," she said, her tone a bit haughty and uppity. For she felt more entitled and privelaged, even if she really wasn't in the grand scheme of things. No doubt she was noticed before she approached, not that she really cared. Her tail was raised just slightly. Matianak had never actually asserted dominance over anyone, but that was because she only worried about her father and Eden, for he ruled Glorall. Anyone... no... everyone else was irrelevant.
