Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

Aakil

They were following her and all she knew was to run. Every chance they seemed to have, they circled around her to cut off her paths of escape, like she was prey for their hunt. Her pale protector was not at her back this time, she did not know where Zephyrus was. At this time of night and this far from Iromar, she had no way of being able to find him. So she ran, wildly and blindly in her dark panic. The only thing she did know was to run back in the direction of the safety of her pack land.

The scent of Iromar grew stronger with every step. Before she could even tell if she was within reach of the moors or not, she started to raise her voice in panic, crying out for any kind of help. When her eyes fell on what smelled so much like home they went wide with sudden panic. It was not Iromar, nor was it her loyal brother, but the other one. Zannon had always watched from the shadows, never too present but never far away from them all either. He studied and he observed. In this moment she hoped for dear life he would protect. Please! She whimpered once, darting behind him to hide from the oncoming wolves. Aakil closed her eyes for a second, steeling herself before stepping up beside her brother. Fox-like body was visibly shaking and her sounds still rang like those of whimpers and cries of terror, but she would stand beside a brother who had stepped from the shadows to help protect her. She would not let him stand completely alone, though the scent of her terror was thick in the air. Suffocating to anyone who breathed in the musk.

Trying desperately to be courageous like her brothers, Aakil cowered beside Zannon. Y-yeah! B-back off! She growled in her high pitched voice, tears stinging her eyes and her hopes of more help running more wild than she had.

...which one will leave here alive...
