I find these things helpful sometimes for getting characters going again after a writing break. Thinking about the little things your character does!
The old ‘burning building’ trope. Would your character save… A hundred strangers or one close family member?

A doctor with the cure for cancer or a child?
Character habits. What does your character do when they are… Waiting for someone or something?
Having a slow day at work?
Having a conversation with an irritating person?
Having a conversation with a stranger?
Having a conversation with someone they feel very close to?
Dump your character on modern day Earth. How would they feel about… The Disney princess franchise?
The Marvel franchise?
Donald Trump?
Nuclear weapons?
A holiday in the Bahamas?
How your character feels about themselves. If your character could eradicate one physical/appearance flaw about themselves, what would it be?
If your character could eradicate one personality flaw/change one habit about themselves, what would it be?
What aspect of your character’s appearance do they like the most?
What aspect of your character’s personality are they most proud of?
What’s your character’s biggest regret?
What’s something your character is looking forward to in the future?
