It had been a while since I had the chance to get back with Aster. I had done what she asked though, but with winter over I feel like it might have been a mute point. At this point though I am certain Aster extrapolated Solstice’s feelings or her own beliefs. I am pretty certain after talking with Solstice myself that there was no such feelings. In fact while I was there I took the liberty to even plan an event with our caregiver. So my plan was twofold today. Find Aster so that I may grab her ear and let her know what was going on with her Mate’s imprint as well as gain her approval to run a puppy play date with Diveen soon.
I move easily over the fields, the sun shining brightly over our lands. The storms to the north seemed to clear leaving the whole area looking bright and alive with summer full on. My dark fur attracting the sun’s rays, though the breeze passing over the plains kept me from being overly hot just yet. We only were in the first days of summer after all, I still had plenty of days where I will choose to be near the ocean or hide in my den from the sun, but today it was beautiful, perfect I dare say and I even managed to find Aster quickly and so far without any hiccups.
Though I appeared to live up to my name almost immediately when I thought such things. I open my maw to call for the mostly black wolfess and a bug sought to fly right into my mouth and into my throat causing me to make a loud gagging noise for a greeting instead of actually saying her name before causing me to go into a huge coughing, spitting fit right before my queen as I try to regain my breath as well as spit out the fowl insect that dared to fly in my maw.
I continue coughing as I try to speak, ”Lady-”cough-Aster. I-” coughs-brought news.” I say before bursting more into a fit until finally I managed to clear my throat, eyes watering slightly though I was in no pain it was just… terrible. It always happened to me, I shouldn’t be surprised but I almost rather have fallen on my face again than had that happen.
