If it were not for the pain and the total body draining energy it took to push the small wriggling pup from her body, Faolan would be rolling around the den in stitches right now at the horrific expression that washed over Mugen's features right now. When first the pain gripped her, she all but ignored his playful nip, it a mere momentary distraction. The concern in Mugen's voice was genuine but she could not push aside the pain long enough to offer him any sort of explanation.

The pup comes, and the pain subsides as the contractions begin to ebb away. For the time, Faolan let her focus drift away from Mugen, focusing on one baby at a time and in this moment, it was the new red pup that nestled tight against her side that controlled her attention. As the pale healer entered the den however, her attention turns sharp and fierce as any new mother. His sharp words to Mugen are met with pinned ears. He may deserve her biting remarks but hearing others snap at him did not sit well with her, especially when he hadn't done anything wrong... other than speak. He calls the pup a thing and this time her fierce eyes burn into his as a snarl curls from her lips, "This thing is your son... Rougaru."she snaps, her ivory fangs flashing irritable before she continues again, "And you would do well to remember that." she finishes settling back wearily as her lips once more cover over ivory fangs. The pale healer moves towards her now, nosing through a compilation of leaves meant to assist her in the healing and recovery. Silently she chews down the borage leaves and comfrey root but wrinkles her nose at the smell of the Valerian root. It smelled like a dead animal but none the less if the healer brought it all this way, it would be rude of her to not eat it no matter how terrible the taste of smell.

He eyes Rougaru now, carefully examining the tiny pup with the skillful eyes of a healer. He confirms her initial thought, the right eye clouded and hazed was indeed sightless, but it did not seem to hinder the pup. Perhaps being born with a defect was much better than having one fated to them through some accident... the red pup finds no struggle in searching out her milk laden teat and quickly latches on with the fierceness of a hungry hunter, grunting and groaning as his tiny paws knead at her soft belly fur, encouraging her milk flow.

For a moment she is lost in the sight of him, lost in the sudden urge of motherly affection that overcomes her and the sudden need to protect the helpless creature at her side. A tender smile curves across her lips as she reaches down to nuzzle his flank, inhaling his sweet puppy scent. Viserys speaks again and this time Faolan lets her brilliant teal blue eyes drift from the pale male to the tawny colored Mugen she had all but forgotten about until now. An impish smile curls across her lips as she nods to Viserys and lets her gaze fix upon Mugen. "Thank you Viserys, I will send Mugen if I need anything but I am sure that your herbs will be enough... I will be fine." she murmurs, blinking up at him before turning once more to Mugen, "Mugen will help.... wont you?" she inquires, eyeing him cautiously... waiting....
