The closer I came the more I realized just who this male was. Not WHO he was but who he was to me. It felt almost tangible, the snapping of our souls together, some magnet driving me closer but I remain removed. It is a rush of emotions but not enough to drown out the odd cadence in his voice. She is Bea-uuu-tiful! My eyes widen in embarrassed surprise but I feel unease slither down my spine because that voice was high and feminine, a falsetto that was confusion with his appearance. Maybe... maybe I heard wrong?

I press onward because I am the Queen here and I can't just back peddle and leave him there in wonder. Duty and all that.. and maybe just a bit curiosity because I feel this need to learn about him. Then a different voice comes from his mouth - yes that IS him speaking, I can see his lips moving, and I blink and slow down, glancing around as suddenly the accented voice gives way to the falsetto and he says Diesel like there is another wolf nearby. Except I'm like 99% sure there isn't since there is no brush remotely close to us and my eyes have already swept the barren plains.

"Uhh," I start but stop, flicking my ears forward to catch the rest. "I'm.." fine, I was about to say, my heart ratcheting as he steps closer but then he starts speaking out of turn again and I get this queer look on my face as if I just swallowed some sour berries. What the hell is going on? He is making me so nervous and I try not to back up but find my body rocking backwards. "I am not getting swept off my feet," I say suddenly, very pointedly just in case my imprint has some funny ideas. "I already.." have a mate, but there he goes talking again in a different voice. Don't you wish, and I find myself getting angry. "What do you mean? I don't wish it and I said I'm not!" My voice is petulant as I glare at Orb, thinking he is fucking with me.

I'm Diesel. Wait... hadn't he just said that name? What the hell is going on? My glare is undiminished as I glance left then right pointedly then back to him. "Look, I don't know who you think you are Diesel," the name fumbles on my tongue. The name of my imprint, how odd. "But whatever you were just talking about I suggest you forget it, okay? I am Aster, Empress of this land!" I wonder what Hal would think since I keep going around calling myself Empress but hell, he would probably laugh... until he realized who this guy was. But I certainly wasn't feeling any funny feelings for him, pompous man.

Thoth - Advisor to Sekhmet - God of wisdom, reason, and secrets. This wolf is extremely loyal to the Pharaoh. They can make and block steals as well as accept challenges when Sekhemt and the Kuk are unable to do so.

Imhotep - Divine Priest - Spiritual Advisor to Sekhmet. You will make sacrifices to the gods in her name.
Amunet - The Heir - One who is hidden and her powers are connected to the words silence, stillness, mystery and obscurity.
Ma'at - Lead Diplomat - God of justice and order. You maintain peace and order within the pack and with those to whom we are bound.

Nephthys - Head Butcher - God of death and decay. You, mighty butcher, will be the artful assassin. Those marked should meet Anubis soon.
Set - Head Thief - God of chaos and change. Take everything that you need and a little extra to grow. The rest is tribute.
Horus - Head Hunter - God of good hunting. Great hunter, the feast will be plentiful when you step on the fields.
Isis - Head Healer - God of healing and protection. You mend the wounds and do not allow weakness to fester.
Seshat - Head Informant - God of knowledge. Gather information on our friends and enemies alike.

Scepters - Warriors - You will work closely with Sobek. Fight for your pack; you will often be asked to escort other members on outings when it is seen fit.
Kemet - Hunters - Working under the eye of Horus, you will ensure the pack is fed.
Medjay - Scouts - Show me, what bounties can you find for the gods? Report your findings to Seshat.
Snares - Thieves - The world is ours, let us reap from it. Learn your art from Set.
Heka - Healers - Work with Isis to heal wounds and ease pain; repair what is broken to the best of your abilities.
Scribes - Diplomats - You will work under Ma'at to complete the duties of mantaining peace within and outside of the pack.

Kith - Children of Asteraia - The youth are our future.
Kin - Unranked members of Asteraia - Those who have not yet chosen a specialty, or who do wish to.
