Aplos Riverside

Moladion’s powerful, winding river...
Aplos River is a broad, slow-moving river originating from somewhere beneath the mountains of Spirane and feeding Iromar’s moors in the south. The northern parts of the river are known for their strong currents, with the water becoming slow moving in the south. The riverbanks vary along its course, ranging from soft hummock grasses to small groups of pine, and sometimes nothing but pebbles and sand. Crossing can be difficult at times, but it can be swam or bridged by fallen trees or boulders alike.

- Zelda -

She would never tire of allowing her paws to wonder the outside lands of her home. Zelda needed this time away from everything after all it did little good for her to pace and feel terrible for what had happened to Pine’s wolf Eleanor… As much as everyone said it might not have been her fault she certainly felt like a failed ruler in letting her known dangerous prisoner to escape, but she hadn’t thought a moment about the Diveen scent that had crossed into her land. Zelda had many Angels and Diveen wolves in her lands, they had family coming and going constantly. What was she to think when she found the scent of a Diveen wolf running around the ‘cell’ of sorts of Arace? She was planning on going to go see herself, though she was taking a rather round about way of going there.

Her paws simply carried her, she found herself standing at the side of the river, a spot that seemed so out of the way and ordinary wasn’t to the smaller sized female. This was where she had met Hyrule, where her path seemed to start. She was starting to think she might never see the bold wolf again. Her heart still wished to see him, but her mind slowly knew the realization that that was unlikely to happen. Part of her just knew he was going to stay in the land where the angel wolves had originated, that he would find a place that needed him more than Moladion did. The more time that passed the more she grew independent, figured out how to act and what to do on her own without consulting with her grandfather, uncle then of course Hyrule. They had all been more natural she felt than she was in such a role, but she was learning, albeit, she thought too slowly.

Destiny had a weird way of working. She finally tore herself away from the location, continuing down the river a ways before she spotted the light wolf. She blinked at first, her mind playing tricks for the second before quickly seeing the tan and black and distinct lack of red ears upon the very large pale coated male. She didn’t recognize him at all, and as his scent wafted in the river area breeze she knew why instantly as there was always a distinct scent of wolves that came from beyond Moladion.

She wasn’t sure if he had noticed her, or if he wanted to be alone, but she knew she might have been standing there awkwardly for a good few moments for him to see her. ”Sorry, didn’t mean to bother you.” The wolfess started, letting her mostly teal eyes break away from him to go towards the water. She was going to continue past him, moving forward at a slight angle that showed she was going to ark around him as to not further disturb him if he didn’t want it. She didn’t expect anyone to move out of the way for her, and to wolves who were unfamiliar with the lands, and names of its rulers she knew she was just another pack wolf wandering about. It worked well for her at that loner gathering, many natives didn’t immediately know of her face and ‘title’ but her family in particular didn’t think they were any greater than anyone else in Moladion just because they ‘ruled’ a pack.

but legends endure.
