there is no greater pain
or punishment than memory

There had been times within his lives where he had the ability to teleport from one world to another, but it was not really the kind of ability he should be allowed to have. It never really did him any good, and he was pretty sure that it only screwed him over in ways he did not want to think about. Not now, not after everything. He had finally started to feel like things were looking up for him, and he did not want to mess with that. Better to hold the temptation of such things far, far away from himself. There were too many variables in that kind of power and where it could lead him. Being on earth was dangerous, too. If he knew that he was, it wouldn't be good for him. Thankfully he was oblivious; as he should be.

Her response and the look on her face was enough to read into, and he glanced at the sky and back. "That you having a bad moment?" He asked, flicking fingers towards the sky. He had seen some terrible stuff go down because of storm type powers, but there was no one to be concerned about here. He didn't even know where 'here' was, so he was fine with whatever was going on with the rain and thunder. He could force lightning made fire to smother before it got too bad now, after all. That made some difference. She was speaking again, asking if he was from Shaman, saying she had seen him around before, and telling him that she was Poppy. "I was a long time ago. For me, anyway. Then I came back." He adds.

He doesn't talk about dying the first time around, not that he had time to do so before a pot of gold ended up there in front of Poppy. "I'm Tarquin." A pause as he eyed the pot of gold and then Poppy. "You a leprechaun?" He looked amused, but that was because he was Irish, and also because he had no idea what kind of other omen a pot of gold would even signify. Though Poppy did seem pretty bent out of shape by the arrival of the gold. Quinn simply stood back and watched the whole thing with a perplexed expression on his face. He did not know what was going on, or why someone would feel the need to hide a pot of gold. Well, maybe to keep random people from trying to take it and stampede to do so?
