Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

A significant chill arose through the electric sensation in his fur, whomever was lurking in the shadows was approaching. Juris was a creature of the shadows himself, so when someone could hide from him - he was quite impressed. His nose twitched, he could smell the pheremones of a young female with reminants of salt in her fur. She had quiet paws and silent breath, what a swift wanderer. She had a talent much like himself, which unfortunately had Juris's interest. Who was she?

He looked up with cold creek water dripping from his black lips. His ears flicked forward in interest, the lady of the shadows emerged, skittish and tense. Her wide eyes reminded him of a lone deer, just one innocent gaze might just send her bolting off. But he snorted, to get the drips of water away from his nose. Shamelessly, he gazed back into her large doey eyes as she apologized for nothing.A short whistling whine came from his breath, his erect tail relaxed and fell limp. He was also a wolf from the sea, masters of silence and a past near the sea, that was two things they had in common! With these small familiarities, Juris himself no longer felt any concern, in fact a little bit of comfort. The hairs on his neck lost their electrical stimulation and his body language showed no intention of caution or harm.

He lowered his neck and curiously bobbed it, inspecting the female. Her fur was an interesting hue and what looked like white tear stain down her eyes was something he had never seen before.

Wait. Don't run. Im alone, too. Its safe here, I don't smell anyone else.

He wagged his tail slightly, signifying that he would like to approach for a proper, wolf introduction. He stepped lightly, as a rogue himself he could sympathize with such caution she held in her poise. Juris runs from most strangers, so he understands. He wanted to make sure she knew it.

I am Juris, and I mean you no harm.

He was slow to appraoch but his curious nose came close to her fur, smelling and investigating. This was the first wolf of Moladion that he had come across and he wanted to know everything! What could he smell on her fur anyways? Pack life maybe? Definately the ocean. What about food, fire, or storms? They were face to face now, her bright eyes versus his deep teal ones, he tried to use them to smile - hoping she wouldn't run. for being so skittish and alone, she must have some sort of hidden talent to living life alone despite such traits. A fellow survivor.

Oceanfur. I need to know your name. Were you supposed to find me?

There was a new arising concern on his face. As if he investigated a little too much. However, he stood his ground in interest. Were the wolves of the sea hunting him down again? But I thought...they were all dead... Could she be one of them. (he is referring to his past)

He wasn't certain if it would be a smart decision to really open up to this stranger, she might figure him out.
