Huntress was always thinking ten steps ahead of what her body was actually doing. Before even dispersing the light nudge she had already drawn up multiple different scenarios and how she would react to each. However, all these flew out the window as the sharp yelp filled her large ears. This sound caused her ears to flick back tightly against her skull, taking a step back in case the male decided to lash out in a self protective manner. "I-I'm sorry." She quickly choked out, not meaning to frighten the male. Watching him struggle inflicted a unfathomable sort of pain in her insides, knowing that he indeed was hurt and definitely a bit frightened by it all. The second cry of pain from his body meeting the ground once more made her jump lightly, her body frozen momentarily until he fell still once more. For a few moments the two were silent, simply watching him blink until he choked out his own apology. "It's okay, just hold still." She softly whispered as she moved forward once more, each step she took very slow, being sure not to frighten him. "I'm not here to hurt you." She reassured him, being sure he knew this wasn't her intentions. The mood was changed a bit as he awkwardly introduced himself, causing a light smile to curl upward upon the corners of her lips. "It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance, Maverick. I am Huntress, and this is Mishka." She slowly lowered herself upon her haunches, watching over his limbs carefully as he began to apologize again and tried to get up. "No." She said lightly, cringing a bit at the few more yelps which escaped him. "It is really okay, you aren't intruding. This is Traydon River. A rather pubic place. As for leaving you be, I couldn't do that to another being. A wounded one at that." A soft sigh rolled off her lips as she fell silent.

Mishka too watched from a few feet behind her companion. With each loud yelp she winced, clicking her teeth three times in a row after each. The chattering tended to keep the young adult calm, sort of a way to calm her anxiety. The current situation left her a bit on edge, worrying about the well being of her friend as she neared the stranger. Her copper pools shone lightly through the eye holes in the skull, not once leaving the male and Huntress. However, she remained silent, watching curiously and anxiously. This wasn't the time in which she felt the need to speak up, so she waited.
