TELL ME, WHY CAN'T THIS BE ENOUGH?

15.2HH PERLINO AKHAL-TEKE MARE
QUEEN OF PARADISE

There was a great deal to be done, Keyik knew this. Her plans were large, and while she knew it would take time to cultivate the proper relationships to see those plan through to fruition, she was more than likely not prepared for just how long that might take. While one the one hand she was realistic, on the other she was spoiled and entitled. She assumed that every horse should, and would, treat her as royalty is to be treated. Wolpertinger may have silenced her with fear when she was younger, but Keyik was no longer afraid. She was ready to take what was hers.

Maslakhat agreed with her statement, though his subsequent pause hinted that he had more thoughts on the matter. Her gaze remained on his, studying his expression as she waited patiently yet keenly for his opinion. If Keyik wanted anyone’s advice on her plans for the islands, it was Maslakhat’s. She knew his opinion would be of the upmost value and certainly trustworthy. While she had been in hiding, Maslakhat was out in the world learning, exploring and achieving his goals. Show them you are already powerful, he continued. She considered those words and what she might do to achieve that end, ”What would you suggest?” Perhaps he would have a better idea.
