Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Dark! Dark! EDEN

The forest wolf is clever to stay on his side. Violence nests within the marrow of his bones and his nerves seem to ache with the need to expunge such things. Yet Dexter does not trespass while the Thorn of Glorall guards the border, his wicked eyes focused wholly upon the creature. Things have not been simple for Underidge - forced to choose between his mate and his god - what sort of decision should one make? The claws of the Shade seem to draw invisible lines across the bones of his spine, arching slightly as he watches Dexter. Why does the male stare at him so? As if he can decipher the meaning of Under. A slow curl of lip is given in disgust - likely this wolf knew nothing of the true meaning and purpose in this world. He, at least, was not weak so his wretched soul could remain trapped in his filthy body.

The secrets of Eden are great. Underidge realizes they are greater than even his own secret shared with the King. That day that Eden had helped him finish off the aged male - watched as Under tore through the sickly breakable skin to shred him from within. A monster they both were and yet there is purpose in the jerky movements of Underidge. Dexter explains but it makes the snarl, silent, stay fixed on his face. He does not respond in kind to Dexters overtures of friendliness, his tail does not rise. He has ever been apart from others. Ears slowly fold back as silence stretched once more. "There was one. She is gone now." And for a moment he leaves it at that, eyes seeming to glow with some internal delight as he suspects Dexter might take such words to have a wholly different meaning. Finally he thrusts his head into the air in an abrupt manner and lets loose a short, measured howl that is haunting and odd, the notes jumbled and mixed. "Eden can tell you."

(If it's cool with you guys im setting the time to after Blackthorne chases zafira from Glorall so she is lost again ;) )
