Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

There is extreme happiness sliding through my veins as I hug this wolfess, pressing my nose into her fur and inhaling. After all she was my new sister and I needed to know just exactly who she was and what she liked and what she smelled like and... I was getting ahead of myself. I prided myself on being observant but I was so overcome with emotion that I missed, at first, the way she seemed shell shocked as I pull away and bounce to my brother. I sigh happily as he licks my forehead, grinning when he jests with me. "I've never pegged you for being shy," I tease. "Cunning, yes," I agree, happy to compliment my brother. He was a strong personality and very smart, reminding me so much of our father. When Inanna speaks I focus wholly upon her, my tail having yet to stop its crazy whizzing. If I was a pup my hind end would go with it I was so thrilled.

"My brother cast a spell?" I gasp in delight, giggling as I glance at Thor. The love struck look on his face makes me giddy, makes my chest squeeze as I wish... I long for a certain wolf myself. Would that he cast a spell on me. I bark a laugh at Inanna. "I suppose he passed the test as I see all of his toes are intact?" My eyes beam between them and when she leaps to tackle I find myself bouncing around them with a few barks of playfulness which is rather unlike me with strangers. But she was not and could not remain one now.

"Oh," I say with a pleased look on my face if somewhat shy at telling my story. "I'm the healer here. I trained with Hadrian when he was still here since I was a pup. I'm sure Thor told you about our parents." I miss them so thoroughly that my heart squeezes. "There is not much to tell I suppose," I frown now, disappointed I hadn't accomplished much. "What of you? Tell me about yourself! Will you join our den?" I had missed my brother staying with me and used this moment to try and feel out what would happen - I did not wish to be alone.
