Boss's Decree

"For every brother you bring to our
midst, you may keep a trinket all to
yourself. She will not be sullied or traded, unless you deem otherwise. But should you bring a mare here without a new brother first, then I will consider her property of the Lagoon as a whole
and do with her as I see fit." - Garmr

Rules

• The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page.

• Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

I am the nightmare that became reality

Ruger

stallion | 15.3hh | EE aa TT | son of the wolf

The time of day or night had little to no effect upon the painted brute as he stalked through the very place in which he had been born. He slept when he needed to sleep and he carried on with whatever plan he deemed fit the rest of the time, and not even this heavy fog was going to stop him. Even though it had dampened everything, muffling the scents throughout the swamp, Ruger was still able to trace where the current boss had been and with his head low to keep track of the musk, he followed it.

When the large figure loomed ahead, Ruger paused to lift his dark crown so his lupine eyes could take a quick assessment of the other male. He was much too relaxed, at least in his opinion, but Ruger supposed without the wolf prowling through the swamps there wasn't much to fear anymore. Even he had become more relaxed knowing his father was gone.

Letting out a deep rumbling nicker that broke the silence, Ruger approached the boss with confidence in his stride and only stopped when he had reached a comfortable speaking distance. "Argento, I presume." He said, his gruff voice coming out to sound more like a growl. It wasnt meant to be in an intimidating way; there was no hostility in his tone or body language. But Ruger wasn't exactly welcoming either. "We haven't properly met. My name is Ruger, and I believe we need to have a little talk."
