Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Immediately, she is honest. It makes my brow flicker up in amusement as she outright admits to knowing little of healing. Still, I'm curious. It seems for a good reason for what she says next makes my head tilt and my eyes widen momentarily in interest and intrigue - like Ehiyeh before that bastard and like Hadrian before he left. Though I desire to instantly affirm her, she continues and my head further tilts - storms, weather, power. She speaks of...unusual things with an air of absolute confidence. I do not even mind that she has seemingly slipped in beneath my gaze - let her if it means she might better serve us here, no?

"Samia knows healing well," I state with a nod before my eyes move to meet hers once more, "and so, do not feel that you must be preoccupied from your other interests. If what you say is true then I must admit that you have me captivated." I am sure it shows - I already wish to learn what she knows, all of it if I can. Zeltzin had taught me the basics of healing but this was something much more...useful, I suppose. It also means that Ehiyeh will either have herself a teacher or she will no longer feel the need to study such things. Boons is all I can see.

Her request makes me blink for a moment, a little taken aback by its simplicity. But I am quick to recompose myself, nodding slowly as my eyes turn towards the south. "Do as you please," I state firmly, "and consider yourself free to roam any place. I offer you that protection." It is the least I can do though, if what she claims is true, I truly doubt she will require such protection from me.
