MY son has done well with his pack for many winters now, and he has ruled at this point longer than any current alpha standing. I have kept my eyes and ears open, and I know that Spirane has changed hands- even though it is still in the same family. All these young, inexperienced alphas though...they come with problems.
One little problem I heard howling at our borders the young alphess Aster has declared Glorall an enemy. I had sensed a sort of pettiness in her voice, and it made me twitch knowing she not only spoke to my son that way- she did so in such a public way. I suppose if she is declaring such a thing that any of Glorall steps in Asteraia they are to be shredded should be public knowledge though. It doesn’t mean that I find much irritation with the direction that pack has gone. Even though I keep my paws out of things, I must preferred that of the Monster.
With so many changes and young minds, I now wonder the state of Moladion. My tail twitches as the moon rises. It is most irritating seeing as prey has become scarce as of late, with an extra touch of cold winter coming early. With the way food is going and with how the packs may be viewing Glorall, I find it needed to have a bit of a...discussion with my son, and the one that has brought me the most pride. His brother finally has brought me grandchildren, but he is sparsely found...a thing that upsets me as well.
The sound of the sea accompanies my hum of a song, but this song was of a darker tune to go with the mood. The moon hung in the sky and reflected gently off the calm waves. I move with grace towards the den of my son, and I await for him- be it he is inside the den or coming to it, allowing silence between us as per usual before speaking. My look is quite stern on this night- though not directed at him. It is a general irritation at many factors and tonight my copper and blue eyes reflect that.
”Eden, why does a petulant girl come to our borders, howling such nonsense recently?” I snap in Latin. ”Her mouth needs to be tied and her teeth pulled,” I spit my displeasure, but otherwise only keeping my sharp look. There was much to discuss, but I will first see what he has to say about this young, stupid girl.
