Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

It is with no small amount of jealousy that I try to claim some of my mothers attention, yet it seems that the growl of the new female sends a shock straight to my core. My fur rises as I dip my head low and angle it towards Sek, a flash of my teeth the only act of defiance I can give because her dominance is so far above mine that instinct has me drawing back to the side of Apophis. Enya never babied us and it was true, she kept many secrets, so today was a mystery until she began to talk. My ears flatten in distaste - mother was going to leave us to find father? I almost snap that he will come back on his own, no need to chase him down like an errant child, but the opal eyes that glitter at me still my tongue. There is something feral about my sister that speaks to me and while I don't like her at this moment she moves with power.

I had a thing for power so as mother stands and gives way to Sek I give a curt nod, dual eyes sliding to see how my brother takes these orders. Still, I remain by his side lest Sek think HE is HERS. I would follow her and she would prove herself like I would prove myself, but Apophis was mine. I was very territorial over my brothers. It almost makes me snarl when we track the tan female and I am sent off in the opposite direction of Apophis but I merely flatten my ears and slink towards where I am told to go.

Then I settle into position... waiting.. waiting... and at the tell tale sign of Sek I am bursting forward. My legs are thin and long, made for loping, and I cover distance fast as I snarl and leap at the females side, intending to knock her down if I can or latch my teeth to her shoulder and drag her down with me.
