The forest stands tall and lush here; ancient trees reach weather-twisted arms to the sky, fighting monster-like storm clouds back with their interlacing fingers. Shadow seems to lurk everywhere you look, but it spills calmly, coolly, inspiring a sense of stealthy calm or protection rather than unease. That is, if you've forgotten what kind of creature might be stalking just out of sight...Abendrot is a land cradled by the dark woods on all sides; in the center, some of the larger trees stay behind to reveal a small plateau - a citadel where this pack can gather and defend itself from invaders. There are, of course, softer sides to the land. Clearings here and there allow the sun to throw down its rays in incongruously resplendent gold showers. Ignore the lingering scents of blood spattered here and there along the borders: those do not concern you. The river on one edge of the territory is playful enough when it hasn't been gorged by violent rain. You can choose to note the ragged claw marks raked down tree trunks and the forest floor as friendly "Home Sweet Home" signs, if you wish.

All who treasure loyalty, order, victory, and the occasional indulgence of raw visceral pleasure are welcome, once they've been approved by the ever-watchful eyes of Abendrot's Alpha. But keep one thing in mind: no matter what your motive, this is not a fool's Paradise. This is the land of soldiers, assassins, and spies. This is ABENDROT.

Make up your mind quickly and prepare to prove your worth. You wouldn't want to add to those blood spatters, would you...?

Siku was never one to show his dominance. It's why he was lazy and slept a lot, he didn't have some great and mysterious power that rivaled others. Instead he was just strong because he believed in others, believed in the power they would posses, and most of all he believed in his strategy and brains. For that he was looking for a place to call home. Upon walking he came across a deserted place that clearly once held a pack of great standings. One that held meaning and pride. He blinked at the blood and destruction that still caked the land. For some reason it just drew him in. He walked along the ruins of the area and finally came to a large river. He tilted his head and looked around. He could feel the power of the place waking up to greet the new wolf, though Siku didn’t believe he deserved to be given anything from this land. In his head he could hear his mother tell him to always thank what the world was giving him, never take it for granted. So he did as he thought the land would want. He gently carried water to the places caked with blood, washing away the stains until nothing was left but clean earth. He took sharp rocks and used it to sand down the trees so they could grow and not have the scar of the past. He cleared the leaves from the meeting grounds and brought flowers from the surrounding area’s, replanting them and giving the meeting grounds some new color. As he worked, the air around him seemed to change from one of darkness to one of peace. The white wolf caked in dark markings seemed to settle in as he worked, by the time he was done cleaning and clearing up the place, night had fallen. For once the lazy wolf didn’t feel like sleeping, instead he wanted to stretch his long legs and so he did, taking off into the woods, his scent mixing in with the natural scent of the woods, covering the land as he ran with it. Unknowingly, he allowed himself to claim the territory and hoped others would be drawn to the place, drawn to the alpha he wanted to grow towards and become. Finally the young wolf had hope, hope for something more than his life to just fade away. He had a calling, a purpose, and he was going to do his parents proud. With that thought, he lifted his head up towards the night sky, howling with everything he had towards the moon and the heavens.
