At the densest section of the forest, there is a brief clearing where a steady flow of water streams down the slippery stone staircase. The water here is cool and refreshing. Staircase Falls has been rumoured to be the place where reality is met by magic; where peaceful spirits dwell. They are rumoured to have healing powers that are used to help the desperately hurt, though no one has experienced this, except for, perhaps, Kaive.

It didn’t take Camille long to find out that the place she currently explored was deemed Blossom Forest. This place was luscious and beautiful, and the prey that thrived here was only another bonus. It was no wonder that many packs dwelled throughout the expanse lands. Not only that, but this place was also a paradise for her own kind. Loners could also live happy without having to join a pack. There was so much land that wasn’t claimed around here that wolves could freely come and go as they pleased.

The idea intrigued Camille and so she didn’t hurry along, but instead found herself exploring many various places. Currently the ivory and ebony colored lady found herself still in the forest part of the land. Plant life was very thick here, and it provided some shade for her heated coat. The sun had been constantly on her ebony colored back during her travel, and it brought a whole new definition to being hot. Some water would be nice, after all it had been awhile since she last perched her thirst. Surely, with all this vegetation life there would be a source of water nearby?

She stopped and pricked her black auds to full attention, could it really be? Yes, she could hear running water nearby. The wolf gods were answering her wish. Cami’s banner wagged even as she raised it in glee, her steps picking up in speed. However, the moment she entered the clearing she halted in awe. Wow. She breathed the word out, her voice soft and calming. Almost like a lullaby, just as soothing as the sound of wind in grass. The sound of falling water hadn’t prepared her for the sight before her.

The water falls in a gentle manner from a formation of rocks. From the top, all the way down to the bottom, various small sizes of water formed, before they continued on to the bottom main pool. She could only imagine what the sight would look like when the water freezes in winter, if it got cold enough to do so. The idea of continuing to travel faded with each moment she lingered in these lands.

The cool touch of the wet pebbles felt amazing against the warm pads of her paws. She sighed a little as she lowered her head to lap up some of the liquid. Blue soul gates noticed fish swimming around in the water. It might have been fun to try and catch one, but she wasn’t particularly hungry right now. This place may be crawling with easy food, but she wasn’t interested in wasting. That’s a habit that will probably never go away for her.

When her thirst was satisfied she leapt on top of one of the larger rocks that was near the falling water. From here she could feel the lightest of sprays from the cascading water upon her face. It was peaceful and she relaxed as she paid attention to her surroundings. Maybe someone would come along to keep her company. Her white legs lowered and stretched out until she laid flat upon the cool rock.
