The Rules
  • There will be no fraternizing with enemies. If you put yourself knowingly in danger, don't expect a rescue.
  • We are only as strong as our weakest link. See to it that you are getting stronger in some skill that is useful, whether it is battling, recruiting, charming, etc.
  • The King and Queen have final say in all matters.

I want to go there. This time I'm not scared.
Now I am unbreakable, it's unmistakable.

With all her curious mind, one would assume Indira would know her fellow herd mates in the desert, but her cravings for adventure have not thus far included adventures of the social kind. The black and white mare is unfamiliar to Indira, but this is no indication of whether she is a local or not.

Indira's curiosity has instead driven her to travel, but her travels are on hold now until further notice. It wasn't long after her return to the desert that Indira noticed the changes in her body. Her encounters on the mainland have resulted in an unplanned pregnancy. Indira didn't think she'd become a mother so soon. It took her some time to come to terms with it, but now there is a building excitement. This too, will be an adventure, an adventure like none she's ever experienced. Not knowing who her foal's father is only adds to a feeling of wonder.

The buckskin painted mare emerges from the shade of brittle desert trees to greet the stranger. The swell of her pregnant belly is just beginning to show. It sways with each easy step. Aside from her torn right ear, Indira is healthy and whole. Physical scars have faded and her coats gleams healthy in the high desert sun.

"Hello?", she utters as she nears the other mare. There is some question in her voice. One and a half ears are pricked forward and her eyes glisten with concern. The black and white mare seems uneasy, but why?
