aurora borealis- noun plural: An aurora that occurs in northern regions of the earth. Also called northern lights.

In the middle of a dense forest of coniferous trees lies the Aurora Borealis pack, its name coming from its location. At certain times of the year, the northern lights appear, dancing almost magically in the sky. A narrow trail leads you through the close evergreens. Giving into temptation, you begin moving your paws. By venturing into this territory, you are venturing into a land belonging to a pair of feared leaders. You have heard rumors of them...but you decide to take your chances and hope that the tales of blood and death are merely fabricated stories to scare wolves.

You have walked nearly five minutes before you realize the sound of paws stepping somewhere from behind. Deciding that you've made a mistake, you quickly turn around, but find that you cannot go any further. Standing before you is one of the mighty kings you've heard of. His blood red pelt clings over perfectly toned bands of muscle. But that isn't what causes such fear in your veins. One of his amber eyes has a horrid, bleeding scar across it, and his good eye seems to stare right through you. His face is expressionless, giving off none of his intentions. You cower away as his jaws part.

"I'm Hell Demon."

His voice was deep and cut through the air like a hot knife through butter. Right where he left off, another voice picks up from behind you. You whirl around and find yourself facing another male with steely muscles beneath his pelt, which seems to consist of every shade of brown. He had startled you, and you're amazed how you hadn't at all detected his approach.

"And I am Ghost...we're the alphas of Aurora Borealis."

His deep voice was laced thickly with a Native American accent. His own golden eyes are directing a harsh glare your way. Now you're caught in the middle...your breathing has become heavy in your panic and you're not sure which to face.

"You've foolishly trespassed into our territory. You face the one called Hell Demon's whose voice is once more addressing you. Get out, or become a corpse along our border."

It's obvious they mean business. So now it's up to you...take your chances and stay, or heed their warning and waste no time getting out with your life.

Warriors are not born and they are not made,
Warriors create themselves

Khaleesi described her surprise that Castiel had left with his parents to the other pack. Aindreas, however, was not surprised that the second boy had left. Rather, he was surprised that Vladimir had not left as well. Neither of the princes were of age, and both were still teenagers who were young, naïve, and growing. They were not to be left to their own devices - Aindreas knew that well himself. He had grown up without any parental figures, and it has severely affected his ability to function in society. It also had led to him having trust issues with other wolves and to being unsure of himself. Prior to becoming the Alpha of this pack, he had believed himself only able to be a follower, and never a leader. The thought of being responsible for others' terrified him. How he had ever thought that it would be different being a father compared to being a leader, he did not know. But if anything, being a father was more difficult. Then again, he had failed at being a father. He needed Khaleesi's help if he was to mend the bond he had with his brother. He did not know how to be a big brother to him, after all, as previously said, he grew up alone. Even though he was born a triplet, his brother and sister were mainly unknown to him for most of his life. Now, he knew of her sister, and his brother had died. Vladimir was flailing after being left by his parents, and the ivory titan knew he needed to step up, not only as a king, but as a brother.

The small far stepped away from him and the border, and closer to the interior of the pack. She looked at him briefly, and Aindreas moved, turning to follow her toward the center. He was surprised when she began to speak of her own brother, and he try to think back and figure out if he had ever met him. It seems that this young lass, despite her inexperience with life, had seen more than most others of her age. She was able to compare her own experiences with the things that he was going through, and compare her own relationship with her brother to that of his with his own brother. She gave him hope with her words that Vladimir would not hit him. For that was his very fear-that because he had taken over the throne, that Vladimir would feel put out. Or as if his parents did not trust him enough. Neither of which was true, they just had wanted Vladimir to be of age and fully prepared before the responsibility of a throne and of a pack was placed upon his shoulders. Aindreas could only hope that Vladimir felt the way that Khaleesi said he would. More than that, he hopes that everyone had the opinion that she said that they would. He wanted to be a good leader, to fill the paw steps of his father. Both Kalgalath and Pierce had wanted him to take this role, and so he had unwittingly accepted.

" I thank you for your kind words and wise wisdom. I can only hope that it is all as you say it is. I want to be there for him in every way I can-to support him as he grows up without parents, considering I can commiserate. Not only did I grow up without parents, but I grew up without the same father that he now will. We share our blood, but it seems that we also will share the same feet. How many times will this repeat itself in our bloodline-to be abandoned by our fathers, not out of choice, but out of necessity. How many times will we be denied our love and affection for another because it was not what fate had in mind. My father originally loved my mother, but her own flaws kept her from being able to fully give herself to him. Then he loved another, a female who I nearly had to fight in order for my younger sister, my adopted sister, to be protected. I am happy only that he finally was able to find his true love. I hope that one day I can find mine, and that Vladimir find his, although perhaps he already has found her in Seraphina. As for wanting to help him grow, that is true-I want to teach him how to fight, how to defend himself, how to survive. This world is not a kind or fair place, as he has already discovered. However, although the original plan was for me to abdicate the throne once he came of age, I am not sure that I want to. I never wanted to be an alpha in the first place, but now that I am, I understand why both my father and Pierce wanted me to take over. It has changed me and made me into a better wolf. I do not even know if Vladimir wants the throne, but I think that there will be time enough to figure that out in the future." for a few moments, the para walked in silence as night fell over them, the familiar Touch of the trees comforting him despite his troubled thoughts. Suddenly, however, everything changed. The ground began to shake and the trees began to part. It was is if the gods themselves were tearing the world apart. He yelled to the last by his side, and began to run. Behind him, the ground began to fly towards the sky, rock and Boulder and tree lengthening and growing taller and height with each passing second. As he ran, it was all he could do not to trip and fall. He could not know that this change in the earth was due thanks to the very magic that had made him into a tempest. He ran toward the lake, the far side of the pack. Once there, at least the ground was quiet and settled, but he could still see the earth around him shifting and changing, molding into a new scenery. If glorious and terrifying mountain chain had a ruptured from the very core of the earth and now stood brilliantly against the night sky, surrounding the lake and making it part of the pack itself.

In awe and wonder he stared at the changes around him. He had never believed in magic, and even after the change he had undergone himself, he had difficulty believing what he was seeing with his very eyes. He looked to Khaleesi, His brow was raised with questions that he could not bring himself to say. Instead a soft murmur of unformed words fell from his mouth as he stuttered. Finally, he swallowed, focusing. He shut the lids over his orbs, and counted to three. When he opened his eyes, he blinked in awe and amazement once more, for it was all as he had originally seen. Once again he turned to look at his companion, and this time was actually able to form words. " by the love of Tor and Fenris, what the bloody hell just happened?"

Through trial and error, pain and suffering,
And their ability to conquer their own faults
