interesting thought on intersex which i had not thought of, and agreed on it needing to be rarer than male/female (although a sex change is pretty cheap at 150$ for a db glitch if someone didn't want an intersex bb). intersex picker i can definitely make an option. based on what i currently know about the intersex community (which isn't a huge amount), i feel like normalisation and sensitivity are going to be key issues here. i will do some more research.
if you want to know how generators work currently for any section of haven drop me a dm and i'll pick it apart with you. you might be able to suggest how to make them work better.
with baby coupons there's currently no guidelines at all for staff, it's entirely staff discretion. thought it might be useful to staff to have guidelines and maybe a list of ideas? not really looking for generators here because i like that staff use their imagination for these, but something to spark the imagination is never a bad thing.
on impetus - not a lot to say on it yet because it's still newer and merl and i both want to have used the system a few times ourselves before we come to any solid conclusions on it, so feedback v. v. v. useful here. will say that i'm with you in terms of character development > gathering stuff. will also say that this exploration system is still pretty basic and has been designed to be easy to upgrade if the basic system works. so if it works as it is, it is very easy to later bring back the 2-star 3-star thing and implement rewards for characters who already have those levels - just because it's not here now doesn't mean it's gone forever. :) Replies:
