So--How about that Olha-Minvielle!

The last thing I was expecting. But Olha, even with all the mistakes he made, played some great jai alai. +16. And Minvielle, I thought, played (and stayed within himself throughout) a terrific back court game. Leke, well, youth gaining experience under the bright lights. He will use the experience to get even better, I think. But the time he is 25, he'll be the best there is, IMHO, (assuming Lopez has slowed down a bit by age 38). Diego was a bit off for the first time I have seen at St. Jean de Luz in the last two years. Last year, he finished 9-2 overall in both South and North, this year about 6-4. I love watching the guy play partidos.

I think With it all, this match could have easily gone the other way, in straight sets or an overtime.

I think Goiko-Lopez will be a bridge too far for Olha-Minvielle, but then I thought Diego-Leke would be. Hope its a great match.

Thoughts anyone?
