Spring was here, and I couldn’t be any less excited. We were the pups of the royal family of Diveen, and generally I gather it is our ‘duty’ or some such to help host in this event. I dragged my paws the whole way to Spirane, my sister seemed a lot more excited about the prospect of being at this party, but me? Mother told me to find myself a good girl, to speak with the children of well to do with other packs, and surprisingly Iromar was in that category too. I rolled my eyes at mom before I left, though I know part of it was teasing I knew she wanted me to find more… and Luxa too for that matter. She shuffled her off hoping we would find our imprints and be as snug and as happy as our parents would. They had met by chance, but I honestly wasn’t all that excited about meeting my ‘soul mate’. Mother was very pundit though, I know she wants what is best for us, just sometimes she has a strange way of showing it.

Whatever the case though we are here. We stand just on the borders of Spirane, nooked close to the river as well as Taviora, safe packs all around. Mom had the utmost faith in Spirane and Taviora keeping us safe, though I am certain she had Orifel tag along anyway to make sure no one decided to try to hurt us. We are here though, and I send up my call, my tones dull and low and clearly not as excited as I probably should be. Its an honor after all to ‘host’ this party, but to me it’s just work.

Whatever, hopefully I can just sit, watch and see what happens and I don’t have to get too involved. That was what I wanted at least.
