Test My Will, Test My Heart

The female’s mind was going miles a minute, her brain still trying to comprehend all that was happening. Her physical changes, the earth’s physical changes, the earth’s magical changes. There was so much that had happened and it was hard to keep it all straight. So far Adara had managed to remain calm and even rational when she was with Drizzt. Seeing him physically undergo his changes made it more real to her for some reason. This had all really happened. Magic was real. And her family were Tempests. She had a job to do, a very important job. Her simple life of just going through the motions and trying to keep close with her family was over. She needed to protect and look after the Arcus Irae, wherever they may be. She knew they had to be here though, the voices told her about them when she changed.

Silvery grey paws carried the femme through the trees, trying to keep track of her bearings in the new lands. Everything had been home to her before, memorized in her brain. But not anymore. Every twist and turn she used to know was changed, going in different directions and encountering new obstacles. Adara was not worried about getting lost though, there was no particular place she was going, so she really couldn’t get lost. As she wandered she noticed how improved her vision was. Not only were her orbs an unnaturally bright blue, but they also made her vision much better, especially at night. She knew that part was to help her should she encounter a vampire in its strongest hour, but she hoped that wouldn’t happen. She was a strong female, always had been, built with a lot of muscle like her father. But she had never been one to enjoy violence and really only knew the basics of fighting. She would need to meet with her brother to help her train and prepare for the worst should it occur.

As Adara aimlessly walked about, she noticed she was getting closer to water. She could hear a river running, crashing into rocky obstacles in its path and could smell the cool freshness of it. She was not paying much attention to it, until she heard a loud splash and what sounded like something struggling. She knew there was a chance it was a wolf, so she quickly went to go and check out the situation. Paws carried her quickly through the trees as she ran, not wanting anyone to get hurt. Vocals reached her audettes, calling out for help. She paused for only a second when she saw the bright colors of the smaller female in the waters. But immediately Adara had jumped in, her powerful limbs carrying her quickly to the struggling teen. She grasped the strangers nape, making sure to keep both of their heads about the water. It was slower getting to shore with the added weight, but she made it and dragged the rainbow femme out. Adara quickly made sure the female was breathing before she shook out her soaked pelt, panting as she did so. ”Are you alright?” Concern filled her bright blue orbs as she looked on at the rainbow wolf in amazement to see that they indeed were real.
