The air is heavy as you make your way through unknown territory, as you pause to sniff the air a drop of rain falls onto your nose. It is soon followed by another and another and soon the rain is pelting down in sheets, soaking you to the bone. The clouds are an angry purple and the menacing drumming of thunder rolls over the sky. Squinting your eyes against the blinding water you find yourself at the edge of a large, dark pine forest. You are too desperate for shelter to notice the scents that mark the border and plunge in, and nearly into the chilly stream that runs through the territory. You veer away and as you are shaking the water out of your fur you notice a large pair of icy blue shards gazing at you. The storm has passed now and beams of sunlight filter through the thick canopy of pines, illuminating a massive male wolf not three feet away from where you stand.

His pelt looks like a bad patchwork job of black and white and beneath them you see large, hard bands of steely muscle and you know this is a warrior for his torso is marred with many battle scars. His banner curls over his back and his lips are drawn, exposing sharp ivory daggers. When he speaks his voice is deep and dominant, like the thunder you so recently heard.

"Wolf, you have found yourself in the terra of the Andere Seite Pack. I am Eclipse, king of this land."

It is only then that you notice another pair of lanterns gleaming in the penumbra and a dark-pelted fae slinks out into the clearing to stand next to the king, her own banner waves and her green and blue eyes bore into you. She is the same size as most males and a crisscrossing pattern of scars show that she too can take care of herself. Her voice is cold and has a snake-like sound to it yet you can see they are both fair rulers.

"And I am Nephthys, queen of Andere. We don’t care much for strangers so you must make your choice, Submit to us now or flee our lands and never return. If you fail to do either you will have little time left to regret it."

The formidable pair pierces you with their gaze and you feel as if all your secrets spill out before them. You are left with a decision now. Will you submit and take refuge in this dark forest or will you flee and never know what secrets these trees hide? Make haste, you can see that the pair grow tired of waiting.

My heart yet beats, the poison drought of you

The little dove soil herself with her released fluids she stuttered and mumbled her way through first and apology and then an explanation. Her voice trembled with whimpers of fear, although whether it was fear of Nimueh herself or of the little lassie's father, the queen did not know. What she did know was that she was furious with whoever this girl's father was-to abuse her so ferociously and thoroughly, and turned her into this, a shell of a wolf too terrified to contract normally with others… Well let's just say that she would gladly take on her crown and title of which once again. There were many poisons that spring to her mind that she tried to figure out which would cost him the most harm, the most pain. She felt nothing but sympathy and pity for this little one… How similar they were. Nimueh have been terrified of many things as a pop-whether she would get lost in the labyrinth of the caves, whether she would fall and trip, which of course could mean a life-threatening infection in her case, and then she feared all others. Until Cynbel had come around and taking her under his wing, she had had no friends, and nearly all of the other children either made fun of her, threatened her, or just plain old hated her. He had changed all of that… But in the end, He had been just like them.

" hush, hush little one. You have no need to apologize to me. Although yes, you did cross the boundary without permission, you have nothing to fear from me. With the strange shifting of this land, my boundaries are not marked nearly as well as they should have yet. But more than that, you are clearly tired, and without protection. Rest and calm yourself, and drink as much as you want of the water. Are you hungry?" Linway turned away from the pop and entered one of the nearby caves. She knew that was in this particular one, there would be a spiraling set of ledges that formed a staircase, and would open up just above it where they're just so happened to be growing a precariously positioned tree. Her ivories had seen the nest, a hollowed out section of the tree with Tufts sticking out of it, giving it away. Cautiously, quietly, she snuck up to the base of the tree and lifted her front paws off of the ground in order to reach upon it. She was graceful and all of her delicacy, and in one swift motion had reached around to the other side of the trunk and snatched out a squirrel, its flesh impaled upon her claws. The queen hurried back down the staircase, and on the way down made sure that the squirrel's neck was snapped. She moved gently to the little lass' side, and placed the squirrel at her paws.

" you must be ravished, so eat. There is no trade necessary in return, no hidden tricks. Eat until you're full and relax, I will stand guard over you. It may not be much for most wolfs, but that should fill you write up. By the way, my name is Nimueh, and I am the Alphess of this pack. You have nothing to fear from me, and I actually do have some other young ones here. Welcome, to your new home if you would have it. This is Crith-Thalmhainn." Content, the queen wrapped her banner around her paws as she lowered her haunches to the earth. Call though she knew that no harm would come to the pup here, within the boundaries of her pack, she would hold true to her word, hoping that it would win her some of the little one's trust. After all, Nimueh never liked to break her promises.
