At the densest section of the forest, there is a brief clearing where a steady flow of water streams down the slippery stone staircase. The water here is cool and refreshing. Staircase Falls has been rumoured to be the place where reality is met by magic; where peaceful spirits dwell. They are rumoured to have healing powers that are used to help the desperately hurt, though no one has experienced this, except for, perhaps, Kaive.

_________________________________________________________________________ The femme wandered through the trees, beginning to remake her mental maps of the different areas in Blossom. She never thought that the actual scenery would change, but after speaking with Aindreas she had to come to terms with the fact that magic was indeed real. She had always been a realistic wolf, and it took her sometime to believe it, even though she had seen mountains sprout from the ground right before her eyes. That had been a sight that she never could have imagined actually happening. But it had and since then there was no way that she could deny the fact about magic. And that was what had brought her to come out and search the new lands. Once she had accepted the fact that there was magic she could enjoy exploring the new territories. It was like being in a brand new place with so many places to explore, and she felt like a pup again. Khaleesi had always been easily excited, and this morning was no exception. Paws carried her to the sound of water, wanting to check out new places where she could refill her herb stores when the time came. So far everything had been calm despite all the changes, and she could only hope that they stayed that way. But she was realistic about the world and knew it was only a matter of time before some sort of incident would occur and her skills would be needed. The healer began exploring the brush around the swampy area, plume wagging happily behind her at having something to do. Khaleesi was so focused on what she was doing that she wasn’t paying any attention to the area around her. Birds chirped and flew off, rabbits scurried away from her, none of which she noticed. Despite things that had happened to her in her past, she was still too trusting of the world, always assume the best in every being she met. When a stranger began to approach her, she didn’t notice him at all, not even when he chuckled at her. It wasn’t until he spoke that she knew he was there, and at first she jumped, surprised that another being was there. “Why hello there.. My my, it's certainly a beautiful scene, isn't it? I'm Cynbel, by the way. Do I get the pleasure of knowing the name of a beauty such as yourself?” The darker pelted male sat down, and Khaleesi noticed the way that his limb sat awkwardly. He must have broken it at some point. She gave him a warm smile, blushing at his words, as she turned around, shaking her pelt to get rid of some leaves and debris that had clung to her as she had been searching around. ”Hello Cynbel, it’s nice to meet you. My name is Khaleesi.” The femme padded forward, giving his leg another curious look, the healer in her curious about what had happened. ”What brings you out to this area?” She wasn’t sure if he was just exploring, or if he had another purpose as she did.
