She had come here for her sister, and found this group of wolves. She did not understand what was going on but felt compelled to comfort one girl who seemed to not be confident. It was a natural thing for her, but her attention was interrupted towards a boy. Honestly, she had not thought much of boys. She had her father. She loved her father, but she had met no other boys. Only other girls. Yet she finds some sort of interest in this boy as he comes to her. He seemed to drop everything he was just doing to come to her, and she did not question this action.

Her sunset eyes direct themselves to him, and her attention is strictly focused on the boy and the way he moves. She stares at him, blinking as he sits next to her. He looks to the other girl, then back at Warpaint. Warpaint directs her attention back to Tikal, and then back to the new boy, blinking as she attempts to decipher what is going on here.

She knew that she already liked him close. It was comforting, like mother, father, and sister. She did not require too much comforting like some pups. She was strikingly independent and brave- probably to a fault. She did not question the immediate comfort with this boy. She did not question much. She looked to him with intense sunset eyes as he says his name is Fen and that...she must be important and what she needs from him.

She does a slight movement with her head to look slightly in the distance in far off thought. What did she need from him? Odd question. She had never met him. What could she need from someone she did not know? This is something Mother would know the answer to. Warpaint made the slight movement back to make eye contact with Fen.

”I am Warpaint. You are Fen. You are...comfortable. I do not know you. I need to know you,” she says bluntly, not questioning her words. It almost slips out of her mouth without her knowing. The bond of imprint was something her parents had, but it was not exactly explained to her thoroughly yet. Warpaint only felt this sudden need to know Fen, more so than any of the other wolves here, and she did not even realize it until her mouth spoke for her. She smacked her tongue, almost as if she was questioning if she had control over it for a moment, before nodding back at Fen.

”Okay, let me know you now,” she said, expecting this to somehow happen immediately as they sat next to each other, Warpaint naturally sitting tall and strong despite being a year younger than most of the others here.
